From the makers of Queen’s Head Sarn and Car Essentials! comes their latest app called Trotting Mare Garage.

The Trotting Mare Garage app is a great app for contacting and finding information about the Overton-on-Dee based Trotting Mare Garage.

The Barber family has been involved in the motor trade since 1946. When Lesly Barber was demobbed from the army, he started a vehicle repair and petrol station on the south coast near Portsmouth.

In due course, the business was handed down to his son, Trevor Barber, who relocated the garage to its current location on the Welsh/Shropshire border near Overton on Dee. The business adopted the name Trotting Mare no doubt from the pub which lies opposite, for some reason no-one can recall the exact reason!

Today, the garage is run by Trevor’s son, Daniel who has implemented a few changes to the business adding larger workshops and more service ramps, an automated MOT test lane and new and used car sales.

That said Daniel believes that the importance of remaining an independent garage is integral to success of the business and its customers.
